We are looking to appoint an energetic graduate scientist with excellent skills in genome structure and RNA splicing; human genetics; antisense drug design; western blotting and immunocytochemistry; flow cytometry (FACS analysis); molecular biology; aseptic cell culture; molecular cloning; adeno-associated virus vector (AAV) gene transfer; in vivo experimentation.

The successful applicant will join a leading international research team evaluating novel ways to enhance exon skipping efficacy. He/ she will be responsible for developing and testing conventional, antisense and genetic therapy systems to modulate restore gene expression and to counter muscle degeneration. Post is available initially for 6 months with potential for further extension.
