The Research Office supports La Trobe University researchers, senior executive, academic leadership and other administrative divisions to facilitate excellent research outcomes for the University. The Office provides accurate and consistent advice and reporting, as well as flexible and efficient client services, with an emphasis on continuous business improvement.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, team-focused, experienced staff member to join the Research Office in a position that will drive service excellence for academics and contribute to the accurate collection of research publications. This position requires an understanding of research and scholarly publication processes, highly developed collaboration and communication skills and a commitment to the provision of high-quality services to the La Trobe University community. Partner with the Library team, researchers from across the University and other stakeholders to ensure our research is impactful, high quality and is noticed worldwide.

Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, you will need an understanding of research,  the ability to work in and collaborate with a high performing team, the ability to execute critical thinking, as well as high-level communication and negotiation skills.

All La Trobe University employees are bound by the Working with Children Act 2005. If you are successful, you will be required to hold a valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check prior to commencement.
