Role Description

Interviews to be held on 13 December 2019

We are looking for an accomplished and passionate Head of Web and User Experience to join our Communications and External Affairs (CEA) team.  Reporting to the Director of CEA, you will play a key role in delivering a dynamic web presence for our customers.

We are looking for a marketing communications professional who has proven experience in leading and managing a web and digital marketing team.

You will own the University web development roadmap, working collaboratively with IT and colleagues in other professional services teams to ensure the roadmap plans, projects and timings meet the strategic direction and priorities of the University.

You will develop and execute a comprehensive web strategy, which includes analysis of web performance to support the University's communications priorities, recruitment campaigns, alumni, fundraising and branding.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have substantial experience of working within a marketing or communications team in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritise a demanding workload to meet deadlines.

You will have excellent attention to detail and highly developed influencing and team-working skills.

For an informal discussion, please contact Duncan Murray, Director of Communications and External Affairs, on (T); +44 (0)1234 758050 or (E); d.r.murray@cranfield.ac.uk

At Cranfield, we value diversity and inclusion, and aim to create and maintain a culture in which everyone can work and study together harmoniously with dignity and respect and realise their full potential.  We actively consider flexible working options such as part-time, compressed or flexible hours and/or an element of homeworking, and commit to exploring the possibilities for each role.
