Overview
The School of Science at Edith Cowan University (ECU) offer undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees in a wide range of disciplines. Academics in the School are involved in research and teaching relating to: Computing, Security, Cyber Security, Biological Science, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, with a focus on the continued growth of the disciplines.
This School Officer role is primarily responsible for, but is not restricted to, purchasing, and asset management activities for the school. The role will suit an individual who can confidently purchase computer and scientific consumables and may have a stocktaking and finance background or interest.
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated high level of administrative skills with attention to detail, accurately maintaining administrative systems and procedures
- Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise numerous tasks with minimal supervision in order to meet deadlines and ensure targeted outcomes
- Interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop good relationships and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry and Personal Excellence.
Benefits & Remuneration
This full time ongoing position attracts remuneration of $65,761 to $70,040 plus 17% superannuation.
