Further your administration career with Edinburgh Napier University

We have an exciting internal opportunity, International Operations Administrator, to join our International Operations team based at our Craiglockhart Campus. This is a full time, permanent position to provide administration and student support for our Global Online programmes.

You will join the University's International Operations and Student Recruitment Directorate, which supports the delivery of the wider University 2020 and Internationalisation Strategies. The primary focus of the International Operations activity is to grow the University's international profile through increasing the number of international students studying in Edinburgh, online and through our programmes delivered overseas (TNE).

The role

You will provide effective and dedicated project management, administrative and student support for our Global Online programmes. You will support students and academic staff online, dealing with their queries in order to facilitate an excellent student experience.

You will be responsible for a number of tasks including: responding to enquiries from potential students and maintaining databases; meeting deadlines in respect of the administration of the online programmes; providing support and advice to online students and academic staff; and dealing with a wide variety of enquiries on online course related issues on a day-to-day basis.

Please note you may need to work across all three of our Campuses when required.

Who we are looking for

You will be educated to HND level or equivalent and have prior administrative experience, preferably in further or higher education. You will have good organisational skills and excellent written and oral communication skills, whilst being aware of the needs of a diverse group of students. You must also have the ability to work on your own initiative, on multiple activities, and to meet deadlines. A flexible and willing approach to meet the meet the peaks and troughs of workload throughout the year, is also required.
