We are looking to appoint a Research Fellow in Health Economics to contribute to the research and teaching portfolio of the AUHE, Leeds Institute of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine and Health. This post is available immediately. This is an exciting opportunity for a health economist to join a thriving health economic research team with a commitment to supporting and developing its members. We have a wide portfolio of funded research projects which provides the opportunity to gain experience in a broad range of health economic methods and their application and further develop your own areas of expertise and interests.

The post offers the chance to work across a range of funded projects, with particular focus on economics of ageing and economic evaluations of interventions aiming to improve the physical and mental health of older people living with frailty. The applicant will be based within the Academic Unit of Health Economics but will also work with researchers in Leeds Institute of Health Sciences and Bradford Institute for Health Research. 

The successful applicant will have detailed understanding of quantitative methods, experience working with routinely collected and survey data and competence with statistical programming software. A background in health economics is desirable.
