Are you an academic with proven abilities to carry out teaching in the areas of the Philosophy of Mind and Metaphysics? Would you like to join and contribute to the vibrant Centre for Metaphysics and Mind at the University of Leeds, which is embedded within the interdisciplinary school of Philosophy, Religion and History of Science?

As a Teaching Fellow you will be responsible for the modules PHIL1005 ‘The Mind’ and PHIL2542: ‘Introduction to Metaphysics’. (Details of these modules are available at http://webprod3.leeds.ac.uk/catalogue/modulesearch.asp?L=UG&Y=201920&E=PRHS&N=all&S=&A=any). You will also participate in the assessment of student work related to this teaching (including resits in the summer) and in the case of the Level 1 module, you will supervise and mentor postgraduate tutors who will help with the tutorials. You will undertake teaching-related administration (e.g., preparation of module documentation; administration of Course Evaluation Questionnaires; module review; and so on). You will also be asked to co-supervise and second mark undergraduate Final Year Projects.

You will have a PhD in a relevant area and relevant teaching experience.
