Research Associate in Biomolecular Simulations
A postdoctoral researcher is sought for an ERC funded project developing novel theoretical frameworks to understand phosphate catalytic enzymes. Specifically, the project will focus on using and developing algorithms to achieve catalytic turnover for phosphate catalysis. This is a highly interdisciplinary project that will enable fundamental advances in molecular simulations and also in a broad area of data-driven sciences.
Candidates with experience in molecular modelling, computational chemistry, statistical physics and a strong programming background are encouraged to apply. Prior training in chemistry, physics, or mathematics, with a PhD in a quantitative physical science is expected. You will be highly-motivated, able to work independently, and have the skills to coordinate the work of both PhD students and industrial partners.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 2 years or until the end of 31 July 2022.
This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.
The selection process will include competency-based questions, a presentation and a panel interview.
