The School of the Arts, English and Media (TAEM), is one of four schools within the Faculty of Law, Humanities and the Arts. The School is responsible for the delivery of the Bachelor of Communication and Media, Bachelor of Journalism, Bachelor of Creative Arts and Bachelor of Performance and Theatre.

The School also offers higher degree research programs that have an excellent reputation for linking scholarship to creative practice. The School’s focus on creative and communication practices, and its role as a key educator in the growing creative industries sector, combine to create a dynamic, multidisciplinary learning environment that is both significant within the region and also distinctive nationally.

The School of the Arts, English and Media is seeking an outstanding person to contribute to its Communication and Media program, providing students with an exceptional experience, and engaging in world-class and interdisciplinary research. This position presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a School which has a deep commitment to fostering creativity, student-centred learning and personalised approaches to teaching.

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to work independently as well as being an excellent team member. You will contribute to undergraduate teaching and to curriculum development, as well as research and postgraduate supervision. You will actively participate in the governance activities of the School including promotional and professional engagement activities.
