The Marketing and Communications Directorate is responsible for raising the awareness and reputation of Queen Mary among its target audience, and for increasing the quality and quantity of Queen Mary applicants.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced education liaison or student recruitment professional to join the Marketing and Communications team. You will be responsible for the development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of our recruitment and widening participation programmes. This role will take a particular lead in defining and implementing our work with care leavers, sponsor schools and act as a safeguarding champion within the team.
You will need to have an excellent knowledge of student recruitment journeys in an education environment; proven experience in designing and developing programmes to engage with young people, and a strong ability to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

The post is a full-time permanent role with a starting salary of £38,084 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
