Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 499123), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in public health, nursing, social sciences, statistics or related disciplines. They should have excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Preference will be given to those with a track record of planning and implementing observational studies or complex randomized controlled trials. Strong statistical background and experiences in handling large databases with STATA, SAS or SPSS would be highly desirable. The appointee will participate in research related to tobacco control and smoking cessation. He/She is expected to write academic publications, research proposals and reports.
