Role Description

Cranfield is an exclusively postgraduate university that is a global leader for education and transformational research in technology and management.

Information Services is the professional services unit with responsibility for providing IT services, used at both the Cranfield and Shrivenham sites.

The successful candidate will join our IT Support Services team who are first point of contact for students, staff and other University associates in the use of IT facilities, ensuring that a professional support service is delivered to meet customer needs.

You will have a proven track record of working in a frontline technical IT support role, providing excellent customer service, with experience of managing incidents throughout the incident lifecycle.  You will possess excellent communication skills and strong organisational and time management skills, have a sound knowledge of technical IT concepts and be customer focused.

You will require a flexible approach and the ability to work in what can be a high pressure environment.  You will have a good working knowledge of end-user applications across a range of devices and operating systems.  Familiarity with the ITIL Incident Management process would also be advantageous.

For an informal discussion, please contact Billa Malhi, Team Leader - Support Services, on (T); +44 (0)1234 75 2928 or (E); b.malhi@cranfield.ac.uk
