Applications are invited for a 3-year postdoctoral research position in theoretical physics, in the Department of Theoretical Physics, Maynooth University, Ireland.

The successful applicant will be joining the research group led by Dr. Joost Slingerland, and the research will focus on topologically ordered phases of condensed matter systems, as well as their applications to quantum information processing. The position has been funded by Science Foundation Ireland and is available immediately.

Post-Doctoral Researcher Salary Scale: €37,874 - €45,041 per annum (7 points)

Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance pay guidelines.

*New entrants to the public sector will be appointed on the first point of the above scale.
