Job description
Institute of Arts and Humanities:
We are currently seeking Associate Lecturers to teach two first-year undergraduate modules in Constitutional Law and Contract Law.
Constitutional Law - The nature of the UK constitution, including the rule of law, separation of powers and parliamentary supremacy, as well as the impact EU membership Human Rights legislation on the UK constitution.
Contract Law - including how a contract can be vitiated, ways a contract can be discharged, remedies for a breach of contract and the concept of privity within a contract.
The successful postholder(s) will have a good relevant undergraduate and postgraduate degree in law or a law related subject or a professional qualification as Solicitor or Barrister. You will foster creative approaches to learning and teaching, with the ability to develop appropriate resources for the University's Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). Previous teaching experience in Higher Education is desirable.
