An exciting opportunity has become available for academic leaders to become part of the Advanced Systems Group and lead on research in aspects of autonomous systems including sensing, connectivity, security, safety and trust. They will be expected to make a substantial impact on the global academy, society and the University through effective and innovative leadership in research, scholarship, teaching and/or enterprise. The role holder will have a significant and on-going international and national reputation in areas of intelligent and autonomous systems, with an emphasis on trust, resilience, security and safety. They will hold substantive management/leadership roles at Institute level and will contribute to University-level strategic planning processes. We therefore expect the role holder to contribute to the formation and implementation of strategic priorities in the University and to work across disciplinary and structural boundaries in the University where it is appropriate to do so.
