Job Description

  • Manage and maintain public-facing websites using Drupal (and WordPress) hosted on-premises as well as in the cloud
  • Develop and enhance website functionality based on Drupal (and WordPress) to support new user and business requirements
  • Implement and document best practices for website testing, security, configuration, development and deployments
  • Monitor and maintain operational performance of supported systems and roll out regular security/system patches to maintain the security and integrity of the systems
  • Support users and webmasters directly or with assistance from the respective product support teams and supporting vendors
  • Conduct end-user training sessions for staff as needed
  • Provide assistance in other technical areas outside of but related to Drupal, WordPress and other web technologies
  • Participate in regular self and company-initiated training and continuous improvement programmes to ensure optimal professional capacity and capability

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with the installation, administration, configuration of Drupal and WordPress environments hosted on-premises, Amazon Web Services and Acquia Cloud Demonstrated competent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/Sass/LESS, JavaScript/jQuery, AJAX, PHP, and MySQL
  • Demonstrated competent knowledge of programming, database design, and web security
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high quality of work
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively and collaboratively work as part of a cross-functional team
  • Excellent organizational skills - must be able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills including the ability to establish good working relationships with supervisors, colleagues and external partners
  • Ability to work well alone as well as in a multi-disciplinary team environment and directly with business lines outside of IT
  • Strong written and communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts in non-technical terms
  • Provide user training and develop user guides and technical documentation for supported systems, for all phases of systems/projects within area of responsibility
  • Adopt an agile mindset to operational and project tasks
