The research fellow will be expected to collaborate with other group members to achieve joint multidisciplinary research. For example, the candidate will need to work with group members with expertise in battery manufacture to embed sensors within batteries during manufacture. Another example may be research on automotive battery management system hardware where the research fellow will work with automotive engineering colleagues. There is significant latitude given and guidance offered from senior and junior academics in the group allowing you to work on areas of your interest and grow.

At a minimum we expect you to have submitted your thesis and have published some good quality journal publications in relevant journals. A PhD with equivalent industrial experience and the capability to publish journal publications will also be considered.

Successful candidates will become an active memberof C-ALPS.  As such you will actively contribute to research groups or communities of practice internally and externally, assisting with bids and tenders for external projects or contracts.
