Research Associate in BioMolecular Electronics
The PDRA will be integrated as part of a large ERC project dedicated to enable new approaches for the electrical detection of enzymatic activity in a single redox enzyme. The project involves developments of state-of-the-art single-molecule electrical detection methods based on scanning tunnelling microscopies (STM) in wet environments. The project is highly interdisciplinary mixing single-protein biophysical determinations, wet chemistry and molecular biology.
We are seeking for highly motivated postdoctoral candidates willing to fully commit to an exciting, cutting-edge project. The skills we are looking for are, but not limited to:
-Demonstrated experience in advanced characterization of charge transport in biomolecular structures.
-Advanced use on electrochemical approaches for the characterization of redox active biomolecules.
-Experience in wet-chem environments: sample preparations with analytical accuracy, electrode surface preparation, etc.
-Contrasted experience in the use of surface analytical characterization techniques.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 2 years.
This is a full-time post.
