The Institute of Cybersecurity and Cryptology (iC2) as a part of the School of Computing and Information Technology (SCIT) is seeking a full-time continuing Lecturer position with expertise in cyber security. The primary task of this position is to support the newly developed online course in Master of Cyber Security. Experience with delivering online course in cyber security is highly desirable.

iC2 is one of the largest cybersecurity groups in Australia. As a leading research institute, iC2 conducts state-of-the-art research in cybersecurity and contributes to the enhancement of the security. UOW is a leading Australian university with a history of outstanding achievements in teaching and learning, research and community engagement. The University has established a strong research profile and an outstanding record of achievement in research performance and intensity over the last decade. Particularly, UOW is top-ranked among Australian universities in the ERA (2018) ranking with ERA score 5.

The applicant is expected to be equipped with excellent knowledge and experience in cyber security research and education. Applicants who are willing to conduct interdisciplinary research in cyber security are encouraged to apply. Having a strong publication track record and excellent record in attracting external research grants are being expected.

This position will be predominantly residing in Wollongong campus.
