The School of Nursing within the Faculty of Science, Medicine and Health is identified as a provider of high quality professional education contributing to the generation and dissemination of knowledge within a research-intensive university.

This position is expected to make significant contributions to teaching by not only coordinating and teaching subjects offered but also leading the development of subject and course material, whilst providing expertise in the preparation and delivery of lecturers/seminars and tutorials. The position will develop and undertake original research projects leading to publications, grant applications and conference presentations. It will also supervise research staff, Honours and Higher Degree Research students in the School and the wider Faculty where appropriate.
