About the role
The School of Social and Political Sciences seeks to appoint an ARC Research Fellow who will work with Professor Ghassan Hage on an Australian Research Council funded project DP160100501 The Maronites of Lebanon: Arab Christians in the Era of ISIS.
The appointee will have a strong background in social and political theory and a developing research profile, in both independent research and as a member of a research team, as evidenced by the production of research publications including literature searches, and drafting manuscripts, conference and seminar papers. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders, as well as demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team to achieve project goals and meet agreed deadlines.
