This is a unique opportunity to shape our Ethics curriculum within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences
The Lecturer in Ethics & Professional practice will teach across the Faculty and will be working closely with Professor Mario Ricci, Deputy Dean Learning and Teaching to develop a common course approach to delivering Ethics curriculum. In this teaching focused role, you will have a demonstrated track record in teaching innovations, course coordination and new course development. The successful candidate for this continuing position may subsequently be appointed an Affiliate Member of the Adelaide Education Academy, providing they meet the criteria of membership and can demonstrate evidence of excellence in teaching to the satisfaction of the Academy. Should you hold a doctoral or masters qualification and you have experience in Program Coordination, Level C (Senior Lecturer) may be negotiated at the time of an appointment.
To be successful you will need:
- Post graduate qualification related to health ethics, law and professionalism.
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation and delivery of lectures, tutorials and workshops; and assessment activities.
- Experience and interest in the development of innovative curriculum and teaching methods.
- High level interpersonal, communication and organisational skills and the ability to contribute to a diverse and collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous quality improvement in teaching including updating teaching resources, curriculum review and consideration of the student experience.
