Registrar – London Bridge
Salary Up to £100k per annum
The London School of commerce (LSC) is a commercially focused education provider that has campuses at multiple global locations. This is an opportunity to join the senior management team at one of the UK’s most innovative providers of high quality business education. We are looking for a dynamic registrar to coordinate capacity building across global campuses.
The Registrar will work closely with the CEO and the Senior management team in advancing the strategic and operational plans of LSC. In particular, the Registrar will take the lead responsibility in liaising with university academic partners, awarding organisations and higher education regulatory bodies. The Registrar will develop and monitor data management systems to support both planning and reporting requirements. The main duties will include:
- Liaison with university partners to ensure full reporting, annual monitoring and data collection and analysis
- Supporting the CEO and the senior management team in developing and advancing both strategic and operational planning
- To manage and develop systems to ensure the accuracy, completeness and robustness of student administrative and regulatory processes for the School including, the student record system, student data and course records
- To ensure full legal compliance, where applicable.
- To lead on the development and monitoring of risk processes and performance metrics, and reporting through to the senior team
Experience Required: -
- 3-5 Years leadership experience in a similar Registrar role in the UK education sector
- Good First Degree: Masters degree (desirable)
- Must be commercially astute
- Strong personnel management experience
- Good experience of successful project and change leadership and delivery
- Ability to prioritise own and team workload and to meet deadlines
- Must be at ease with working in a global environment
- Excellent student-facing service ethos and customer focus
- Motivation to work independently, proactively and flexibly
- High level of qualitative and quantitative data and IT literacy, including provision of statistical reports to inform management decision-making
