We are seeking a Research Technician / Junior Research Nurse to work with a team of technical staff to consent patients into the Barts BioResource.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated Technician/ Research Nurse. You will join an established team of medics, nurses, scientists, and administrative staff in the National Institute for Health Research, Barts Cardiovascular Biomedical Research Unit. You will work collaboratively with the Cardiac Research Department to meet the needs of patients, support key delivery of policy and procedures and provide leadership. You will also work on patient recruitment for new outcome trials, and early phase trials ensuring outstanding care and monitoring of patients during these studies.
The post is full time for 1 year initially, but with the potential to be extended. We would like the applicant to start as soon as possible. Starting salary will be in the range £27,742 to £34,220 per annum inclusive of London Allowance depending on experience. The successful applicant will be based at the Barts Heart Hospital.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
