Overview:

Applications are invited for the post of Taught Programmes Administrator for the Global Health programmes within the Centre for Primary Care and Public Health in the Blizard Institute, Queen Mary University of London. The Blizard Institute is the largest institute of Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry and aims to deliver excellence in all aspects of research, teaching and clinical service.

The post holder will deliver high-level and professional support in the administration of all aspects of taught programmes for the Global Health unit, ensuring an effective and efficient delivery of service to prospective and current students and academic staff.

The post holder will have detailed knowledge and understanding of HE procedures, regulations and codes of practice, particularly relating to undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes. They will possess excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently to prioritise a varied workload, working accurately under pressure to achieve business deadlines. Previous experience of working in a student facing role and using an e-learning platform is desirable.

The post is full time and permanent. Starting salary will be in the range £27,742- £34,220 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
