Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Research Division for Molecular and Cell Biology (Ref.: 499074), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry or equivalent, with a strong background in structural biology.  Those with experience in baculovirus expression system or cryo-electron microscopy would have an advantage.  The appointee will study cryo-EM structures of large protein complexes.  More information about the research can be found at https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=Yuanliang+Zhai.  Enquiries about the post should be sent to Dr. Yuanliang Zhai at zhai@hku.hk.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
