About the position

This is an outstanding opportunity for a suitably qualified person to join the Faculty of Society & Design at an exciting time of growth and development.

The emphasis of the position is to deliver and undertake teaching and scholarship within the areas of screenwriting.

About the person:

The successful applicant will hold a degree in a relevant field and/or have extensive relevant industry experience. It is desirable that the applicant possess links with the film and television industry and professional bodies, such as the Australian Writers Guild. 

As a member of the academic staff team, the successful applicant will be responsible for contributing to teaching, scholarship, and service in the Faculty and University, at the undergraduate level. The successful applicant will also engage in professional and industry liaison and provide student support within the Faculty.
