Marketing Communications Coordinator
STRATEGIC MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS
UOW’s Marketing Communications Coordinators collaborate with stakeholders across the institution to plan, coordinate, execute and evaluate marketing and communications activities that meet University goals, and align with UOW’s brand and positioning.
We currently have two roles available.
Marketing Communications Coordinator – Fixed term, full-time appointment (12 months)
This role is a brand new project-based role, focused on supporting the optimisation and re-platforming of UOW’s market-facing course catalogue and study areas.
Sound like you?
You’ll coordinate market research to inform audience segmentation, content development and experience design, to ensure that UOW’s course catalogue and broader value propositions are well-aligned to target segments.
You’ll plan and develop written course catalogue content, and also a range of supporting media content that brings UOW’s distinctive brand and student experience to life. And you’ll execute either directly or together with a talented team of creative and digital specialists, working within an always-on institutional content strategy.
You’ll liaise with stakeholders within the institution to advise on best practice content marketing and other communications tactics, and you’ll use these insights to develop content that performs as best as possible through digital optimisation and which integrates with key points on the user journey.

Marketing Communications Coordinator – Fixed term, part-time (6 months, 3 days per week)
This role is also brand new and is responsible for the account management of all marketing and communications requirements for UOW Online, including working closely with the online delivery partner.

You’ll work with the partner to take the lead on UOW brand, facilitate approvals and advises on the development of online course campaigns.
You’ll be a critical link between UOW central marketing and communications, the UOW online team and online delivery partner.
This is a great opportunity for a marketing communications all-rounder who is great at relationship management
