Job description

The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences has a vacancy for a Senior Registry Course Officer post within the Faculty Registry Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team who provide Registry support to students and academic staff involved with the provision of Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses within the Faculty.  You will advise on course and module matters and regulatory issues. You will deal with queries from external organisations and liaise with a variety of staff both within the Faculty and across the University.

In addition you will be a pro-active member of the Faculty Registry's Senior Administrative Team supporting the Faculty Registrar in realising University objectives and reviewing overall efficiency and effectiveness of Faculty administration within the Faculty Registrar's remit. 

The Faculty is seeking good team players with leadership skills who have  proven line management experience. You will need to evidence a positive 'can do' attitude exceeding customer expectations. You will need to be highly organised and able to manage and prioritise your workload using your own initiative, sometimes under pressure, in a busy customer focused environment. A high level of customer care and standards is required and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidates will required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the Faculty.

A good knowledge of, and commitment to, Quality Assurance policies and procedures is essential.

You should be qualified to degree level or be able to demonstrate extensive relevant experience within Higher Education sector, with excellent IT and administrative skills being essential.
