Job description

Curriculum 2025 is a new team looking to appoint an Assistant Professor Curriculum Lead for Coventry University London Campus to work collaboratively with the Curriculum 2025 team and Coventry University Group to help us transform our curriculum.
Coventry is a dynamic university that provides high quality education to our students, reinforced by the fact that we were awarded Gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework (2017) and have been named University of the Year for Student Experience (2018). We have a proud tradition of enquiry-led learning and great student experiences and outcomes. We continue to invest in our staff, students and facilities as part of our goal to become one of the UK's leading universities. Our ethos is one of support, trust, integrity and respect while valuing diversity. Key to this ambitious goal is our investment in the development of our staff and courses through the Curriculum 2025 program. Curriculum 2025 is a course enhancement team that works alongside academic course teams to refresh the Coventry University offering to our students to ensure it is modern, robust, innovative, flexible and inclusive. The team will have a responsibility to develop a curriculum framework that brings a consistent tone and structure to all courses. It has been created to assure academic freedom in content but clarity for both internal and external audiences.
The framework will take into account:
- Flexible learning pathways
- Personalised learning
- Sense of belonging
- Curriculum decolonisation
- Co-creation of the curriculum
- Graduate skills
- Equity of attainment
- Inclusion and valuing of difference
- Assessment
- Sustainable Development Goals
- Student wellbeing and mental health
The successful applicant will be based at the Coventry University London Campus with regular travel to other university sites.
