Our mental health nursing post-graduate courses are founded on close ties with industry, and from 2020, will offered through a unique hyper-flexible platform.

In this role you will make a significant contribution to all activities of the School and the discipline of mental health nursing. You will be looked upon to provide a high level of leadership to the School and University through initiating, implementing and participating in research, teaching, development activities, education development and industry engagement.

The Associate Professor – Mental Health Nursing role can be situated in either Mackay, Rockhampton or Townsville and if successful you be given the choice of your preferred location. If you aren’t currently residing in the area, the University will assist your move by providing a generous relocation package.

Mackay

Rockhampton

Position Requirements:

• Hold doctoral qualifications (PhD or equivalent) plus significant experience in mental health nursing education and research.
• Understanding of current professional and educational issues in mental health nursing and a history of engagement with industry
• Registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA
