Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 498630), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in public health, nursing, social sciences, statistics or related disciplines.  They should have excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.  Preference will be given to those with a track record of planning and implementing public health studies or complex randomized controlled trials. Strong statistical background and knowledge of mobile-phone based intervention would be  distinct advantages.  The appointee will participate in research related to tobacco control and smoking cessation.  He/She is expected to write academic publications, research proposals and reports.  Research training opportunities will be provided.
