Hourly rate for this post; £17.52. Please note for every hour of teaching you are given, you will also be allocated 1.5 hours of preparation and marking time.

The Marketing and Tourism Department deliver highly successful undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Tourism, Events Marketing and Sports Business Management. These programs combine to create the ‘Tourism, Events and Sports Subject Group’ which is currently ranked number one in both the Guardian League Table and the Complete University Guide League table under Hospitality, Leisure, Recreation & Tourism. This achievement demonstrates our continual success and high levels of engagement across a sustained period. 

Specific to this post upon appointment:

The post-holder will join the academic team in the Marketing and Tourism Department. You will be a student-centered, team-player who can contribute to the undergraduate teaching on our Sports Business Management degree as well as offer teaching support across other programs. You will be expected to lead modules in the curricula and take on dissertation supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Expertise around Sport Policy and Planning, Sports Studies and Project Management would be valuable in the role, although not essential.

This position does not fulfill the UK Visas & Immigration sponsorship criteria for Tier 2.
