Applications are invited for the post of Head of Cyber Security in the IT Services Department.
Royal Holloway University has exciting digital aspirations as well as a complex and diverse IT offering. The role of Head of Cyber Security will play a key role in ensuring the correct security posture for the College.
The senior leadership within Royal Holloway see Cyber Security as a key strategic initiative and investment is in place to ensure success. There will be opportunity to work closely with technical managers across the IT portfolio, leading the development of our Cyber Security Strategy, and leading the Cyber Security function in tactical incident response and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have experience of a broad range of Cyber security activities, but just as importantly how these can be used as part of an overall Security offering. You will need to show that this portfolio of activity can be managed between onsite teams and carefully selected security partners. We will also expect a creative approach in how to engage with the users and increase awareness and positive security behaviours.
The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
