This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished post-doctoral or senior pre-doctoral researcher with an interest in global health to join the NIHR Global Health Research Group on Violence Against Women and Mental Health.  The NIHR Global Health Research Group aims to develop a comprehensive, adaptable package of care to improve the mental health of survivors of violence against women, modern slavery, and civil conflict in resource-constrained settings in India, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan.  The post-holder will be based at the Section for Women’s Mental Health at King’s College London, with an attachment to Sneha, India.

At a pre-doctoral level (research assistant) primary responsibilities are to undertake realist reviews relating to violence and mental health and qualitative research.  At a post-doctoral level (research associate), additional responsibilities would include contributing to teaching and to the development of grant applications for new research funding.

The post-holder will take part in the Global Health Research Group training programme. Willingness to travel internationally is essential.

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for until 31st March 2021.

This is a full-time post.

The selection process will include a panel interview and a presentation.
