The role is to perform radiochemistry and clinical radiopharmacy work in the field of PET radiotracer clinical translation. The project is funded by a recent Advanced Therapies network Confidence in Collaboration Award, involving a collaboration between King’s College London (KCL), Queen Mary University London (QMUL), and University College London (UCL)
The post holder will have the specific role of developing the GMP production of a PET radiotracer for cell and liposome radiolabelling in close collaboration with academic and clinical experts, and to proactively interact with the radiopharmacies involved and MHRA for its translation into clinical applications.
Overall you will you will ensure the smooth running and successful execution of research relating to the clinical development of a new PET radiotracer for cell/nanomedicine imaging and use radiochemistry, clinical radiopharmacy and clinical translation expertise for the development of GMP-grade PET radiopharmaceuticals for clinical trials.
