The Health Research Institute at the University of Canberra invites outstanding applicant to join our world class research team. Our Institute is home to some pioneering researchers, and we were awarded the highest rating of 5 “well above world standard” in ERA 2018.

The successful candidate will support a research agenda funded by the Digital Health Co-operative Research Centre (DH-CRC) which was established in 2018, with $220M in funding, 80 industry partners and 16 universities, the largest CRC ever in Australia. The successful applicant will join a multidisciplinary team including epidemiologists, health geographers, biostatistician, prevention scientists and evaluation experts. This role will see you lead the development of a comprehensive, interactive, real-time Health Atlas for selected U.S. states to enable spatially-based population decision support for improved risk stratification using built, physical and social environmental data together with patient-level information. 

This is a full-time fixed term opportunity for 4 years with a possibility of a continuing position. The salary range for an Academic Level C appointment is $118,714 to $136,515pa plus 17% superannuation.
