About the role

Play a key role supporting our molecular characterisation capability with a focus on NMR. The position is embedded within Capability D: small molecule structure determination, of the La Trobe University-Comprehensive Proteomics Platform (LTU-CPP), which is utilised by researchers across a range of disciplines including the agricultural, health, life, molecular, pharmaceutical, population, and psychological sciences.

Skills & Experience

Demonstrated skill in the management, maintenance and trouble-shooting of NMR instrumentation is essential. The ability to apply these skills to other scientific equipment and to develop/deliver training modules and workshops for equipment in the Chemistry discipline will aid your success in this role.

Experience working collaboratively with researchers to provide a high level of technical advice and service, and the ability to evaluate, analyse and communicate information clearly is essential.

Experience with mass spectrometry and/or HPLC instrumentation will be highly regarded.
