Job description

Coventry University has achieved significant global success in recent years. Coventry University Online is the Group's new dedicated digital-learning operation, responsible for the design, production and delivery of distance education products and services to students around the world. The 100% online courses help busy learners study at their own pace for a range of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional qualifications, and each offers on-demand access to flexible pay-as-you-go modules, bite-size study and customised one-to-one support as part of an international social learning community.

The subsidiary company has scaled at pace to deliver against a hugely aspirational mandate, and Coventry University Online currently offers 15 wholly-online degrees and a portfolio of other programs and short courses including collaborations with the Institute of Coding, City of London Police and OCN, delivering content to well over 150,000 students in just two years.

This post is a thrilling opportunity for a Project Support Officer to join a new business and growing team dedicated to designing and developing degree courses for online delivery. You will join a team of Project Managers within the Studio at Coventry University Online coordinating the production of content for online degrees which will be accessible to thousands of new distance learners across the globe.

Whatever your current role, you will be keen to build your project management skills and you will take pride in being a highly focused and organised individual, capable of juggling multiple tasks at once, to assist in the creation of the highest quality digital learning content within a rapidly changing and progressive environment.

The creation of supporting infrastructure within a new, dynamic and innovative business is pivotal in helping the University Group design and develop wholly online distance learning courses at both pace and scale. The Studio is at the centre of this revolution and progressive in all it does, truly pushing the boundaries to develop a broad portfolio of degree courses with a distinct style and pedagogy. A challenge of equal transformation and reward for ambitious and determined professionals, this is both a sector and UK first; a thrilling time to join a start-up unlike any other; an opportunity to shape the future of Higher Education.
