The Faculty of Fine Arts and Music at the University of Melbourne is home to the Victorian College of the Arts and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. About the Role 

The Faculty of Fine Arts and Music seeks to appoint a Senior Program Delivery Officer who will bring significant experience working with curriculum within a tertiary education environment so to provide an optimal outcome and experience for staff and students. The duties include coordinating the delivery of the teaching timetabling, class registration, integrate events, performances and ad hoc bookings. The appointee will also provide technical advice, guidance and training to internal stakeholders on the Faculty’s bespoke timetabling and booking system, along with collecting and analyzing timetabling data that help inform business practices and outcomes, including teaching activities.

About you 

You will hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline with subsequent work experience or equivalent mix of education and relevant experience. This includes experience working with curriculum within a tertiary education environment and demonstrated experience in the operations and functions of a timetabling and/or scheduling database. You will also have experience with FileMaker Pro and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. 

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to interact and relate positively on an individual basis with a wide range of people across all levels of the organization. You will have independent and informed judgement in problem-solving and have high level of attention to detail. You will also have a demonstrated ability to work in a changing environment as well as the ability to work effectively as an adaptable team member and independently with minimal supervision.

Based in the beautiful Southbank Campus of The University of Melbourne, you will work nestled amongst Melbourne’s major arts and cultural organisations and venues. You will have the convenience of great transport links to the rest of the city with the serenity of the Botanical Gardens close by.
