Position overview

The Research School of Economics (RSE) is seeking to appoint up to five world leading early career researchers for Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Fellow positions. The positions are located within the John Mitchell Economics of Poverty lab within the Research School of Economics.

The John Mitchell Economics of Poverty Lab, established by ANU College of Business & Economics alumnus John Mitchell, aims to have world-wide impact by increasing our understanding of poverty and generating policies to alleviate it. The appointees will work on a number of research projects and will report to the Research Lead, working alongside a team of academic research staff, research assistants and in collaboration with Distinguished Professor John List and his team at the University of Chicago.

Applicants must have a PhD in economics with demonstrated expertise in behavioural economics and experience with field experiments.
