About the position

The primary purpose of the position is to implement and execute the University’s domestic student recruitment tactics and activities from designated market region / segments for South East Queensland and interstate to recruit domestic students for Bond University graduate and postgraduate courses in order to achieve agreed performance indicators.

Reporting to the Director Domestic Recruitment, the position of Domestic Regional Manager (DRM) will develop and nurture effective relationships with a range of external and internal stakeholders including influencers, schools, communities, industries, faculties and other support areas at Bond to optimise the student recruitment opportunities and performance.

The position will contribute to the ongoing planning process, implementation and evaluation of the university’s marketing and student recruitment activities. CRM and Marketing automation will assist DRM to recruit students by delivering a superior customer experience that reflects the Bond Difference.

The successful applicant will be primarily based at our Gold Coast campus, however travel will form a significant part of this role, based on all stages of student recruitment touch points and on/off campus student recruitment activities.

About the person:

The ideal applicant will be degree qualified in a relevant discipline and have at least three years’ experience in a student recruitment or equivalent sales experience. They will also successfully meet targets, enjoy building relationships with a range of different internal and external stakeholders, are able to communicate at all levels, and be flexible in their approach to workload and hours.

Previous experience in the tertiary or high school sector would be advantageous as would an understanding of the domestic marketing and recruitment ethos at Bond.

You will be dynamic, robust and innovative with a constant focus on service excellence and a commitment to working collaboratively with key University staff and business areas.

The commencing salary for this position is $91, 292 pa plus 9.5% superannuation.
