Community Engagement Assistant
The Community Engagement Assistants are the supervising managers for a team of 8-10 Community Facilitators. The Community Facilitators are student leaders who live in the residence halls where they plan, create and host events for their community to participate in, creating a warm, welcoming and comfortable environment to call home.
As their supervisor you will be influential in the creation and implementation of the Fall and Winter Training Sessions, Monthly Team Meetings, and ensuring that duty shifts and events are being conducted in correlation with the Community Engagement Model.
Through weekly logs, event proposals, duty logs, and monthly one to one meetings you will support and guide your CFs in their creative interpretation of the Community Engagement Model to provide proactive support for the students living in their Residence community.
The post will be offered on a fixed term contract for 2 years.
The selection process will include a panel interview and a presentation.
