Professor/Associate Professor (Business and Professional Communication) in the Department of English

The appointee will work in one of the areas of Business/Professional Communication, and is expected to conduct quality research, teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, develop curriculum, supervise students, and undertake the administrative and service-related activities.
A PhD in the relevant discipline, a strong research track record and broad university-level teaching experience. It will be of particular advantage if applicants have a background and research interest in cross-cultural, transnational, or Asian contexts; a background in creative writing; and/or experience in public relations writing, advertising copywriting and promotional writing.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be driven by market competitiveness and individual performance. Excellent fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes, and relocation assistance (where applicable). Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract.
