The Faculty of Social Sciences and Law is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the busy Faculty Education Team to support the educational activities of the Faculty by managing, on behalf of the Faculty Education Manager (FEM), the delivery of administrative support for undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes from application to post-graduation, to include support for students and staff within the Faculty. This role will support the FEM particularly in working across taught programmes including support for examination boards, assessment offences, academic appeals and complaints, student casework and deputising for the FEM as required.

You will be a proactive individual, who is able to work independently to deliver improvements and contribute to an outstanding student experience. You will need to understand the student lifecycle and relevant regulatory frameworks. You will have the ability to manage a busy and diverse workload. You must enjoy working in a team, contributing to shared goals and working flexibly with a focus on customer service and delivery. Excellent organisational ability and time management skills are key, as are strong written and verbal communication skills.

Please note this is a part-time role (14 hours per week) with hours of work to be confirmed by agreement. The role is fixed term only for 12 months.
