The Department of Psychology is one of the most research active departments in UM. Psychology Faculty Positions
The department is filling several faculty positions primarily at the Associate and Assistant professor ranks, whereas we are seeking the best performing and productive researchers relative to a rank in any field of psychology. Some of the positions, including one center director position at the Chair/Distinguished/Full Professor rank, will be joint appointments with the University’s newly established Centre for Cognitive and Brain Sciences under the Institute of Collaborative Innovation (ICI), which focuses on human cognitive neuroscience research particularly in the area of behavioral addiction. These positions require expertise and experience in cognitive neuroscience including the use of fMRI and other equipment.

Other positions are open rank and open in specialty requirement.

Applicants must have a PhD degree in related areas and exemplary publication records.

The selected candidate is expected to assume duty in August 2020 or
earlier. 

Remuneration 
A taxable annual remuneration starts from MOP800,800 (approximately USD98,860) for an entry level position Assistant Professor, and that for a Full Professor position starts from MOP1,170,400 (approximately USD 144,490). Appointment rank and salary offered will be commensurate with the successful applicant’s academic achievement, qualifications, and professional experience. The current local maximum income tax rate is 12% but is effectively around 5% - 7% after various discretionary exemptions.
