The Global Challenges Program is a major University of Wollongong research initiative designed to harness the expertise of world-class researchers to solve complex, real-world problems to transform lives and regions.

We are seeking a Research Officer who will be responsible for conducting research and community/ industry engagement activities for the Global Challenges Program specifically addressing the research needs of the Sustaining Coastal and Marine Zones.

You will undertake and oversee research activities including literature searches, data collection, entry and analysis. The role will also include coordination of research projects including managing timelines, budgets and project stakeholders. You will be responsible for the specific research requirements, reporting, ethics applications, fieldwork planning, scholarly article and publication preparation and submission. You will have relevant degree in and/or relevant experience/training deemed to be equivalent.
