Job description

Ranked top 15 in the Guardian for five years running, Coventry University is proud to be named as the University of the Year for Student Experience in the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019. People are taking notice of us, so there's never been a better time to join the university.

Known for its enrichment opportunities outside of normal studies, the university has an unrivalled reputation for the international and employability experiences it offers its students. Based on trips abroad for instance, the university has been ranked first in the UK for international student experiences in the latest HESA survey in 2016/17. This internationalisation offer is all coordinated by the university's Centre for Global Engagement of which you will be a key part, along with other areas of the university that offer student enrichment initiatives.

Your role will be to develop and deliver an effective marketing strategy and drive through its implementation in line with agreed objectives. The strategy itself would primarily look to increase the engagement of current students but would also look to improve the marketing of university's enrichment experience offer to prospective students to aid the student recruitment process.

You will need to conduct research, analysis and clearly identify market needs.  Subsequent profile-raising campaigns should be engaging and you will need to work closely with a variety of stakeholders and influencers across the university.

We offer a great range of benefits, such as contributory pension schemes, a generous holiday allowance and access to a range of discounts and offers exclusively available to staff. All this and more makes Coventry University agreat place to work.

If you feel you could help us to build upon our previous success, then please complete an application form. We'd love to hear from you!
