Applications are invited for appointments as Tenure-Track Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor (several posts) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 498862), to commence as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal and with consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second three-year fixed-term contract.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, medical sciences or other related disciplines. They should demonstrate the capacity and potential of high-quality collaborative, impactful research proven by a good track record of publications and external grants.  The appointees are expected to contribute to the established strengths of the School in various public health research programmes such as infectious diseases epidemiology, non-communicable diseases prevention and control, community medicine and public health practice, health services management and policy, etc.  They will play an important role in leading the development of academic scholarship and teaching programmes of the School in a collaborative and inclusive work environment, and contributing to the enhancement and development of medical and health science courses in the Faculty.  Information about the School can be obtained at http://sph.hku.hk.  Those who have responded to the previous advertisement (Ref.: 495551) need not re-apply.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.  The appointments will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.  Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
