Applications are invited for the Post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for ICMR (Project No.: No. 5/8-I(1) /2019-20-ECD-II), in the Centre for Bioseparation Technology (CBST), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore

Title of the Project : Development of a rapid diagnostic platform to detect antibodies to Salmonella typhi using a synthetic & unique Salmonella specific outer membrane antigen fragment

Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in Life -Sciences/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology or and any other relevant area of biology with NET/GATE with
minimum of two years of research experience.

Desirable (if any) Candidates having very good research experience in immunological/ immunoanalytical assays and synthetic peptide conjugate chemistry will be highly preferred. Selected candidate would need to join immediately.

Stipend : Rs.35,000 /- per month + 8 % HRA for 2 years
Candidates without NET, fellowship will be paid as per the institute norms.
